The remaining ruins of the two northern blocks are also marketed to tourists – signs point the way and there is a paid parking lot. Information panels explaining the history of the site are lacking.

A large part has already been renovated. But at the northern end of the enormous structure, the ruins can still be seen.

Initially a little skeptical, the tour turned out to be a real highlight, including a "lost place" at the dog beach. Stormy seas and bright sunshine made it easy to enjoy the tour. On the ride home to Binz, you can indulge in a leisurely pace on very wide bike paths.

The "Rasende Roland" (Racing Roland) runs between Lauterbach Mole and Göhren. It takes almost an hour and a half to complete the slightly over 24-kilometer route. More information at https://ruegensche-baederbahn.de/rasender-roland/strecke/
