The final part of Strada Resio which descends from Montaldo Scarampi to Provincial Road 3 at the gates of Mombercelli. It allows you to avoid the boring provincial road between Montegrosso and Mombercelli by offering a rhythmic and tasty itinerary with the passage from Montaldo.

Canelli is a town in the province of Asti. The locality is famous for its wine production, in particular for the renowned sweet sparkling wine called Moscato d'Asti. A further distinctive feature consists of the underground cellars, created by carving the tuff rock, which serve for the purpose of preserving and aging the precious nectar. The historical and cultural heritage of Canelli is of considerable importance, with numerous churches, castles and museums that masterfully illustrate the legacy of this territory.

One of my several "places of the heart" that is the green area on the edge of the SP3 and which overlooks the church of Santa Maria. Many times I have stopped for a break.

The town and the beautiful church of Santa Maria seen from the SP3. Passing through here is always nice and the provincial road, despite being a road in theory with traffic, is not here. You therefore enjoy a relatively safe road to pedal without too many risks.

Gorgeous panorama. I love this country for its views and its streets. In front of me, in fact, that of the San Zeno hamlet and the little hill that goes to Pasquana/Vianoce.
