Beautiful climb, even tiring, shame about the conditions in which the Santa Barbara park is.

At every bend you will be offered a beautiful view of the Gulf of Angels

magnificent pearl in the countryside! adjoining park with benches, tables and games for children! excellent stopping point to rest or have a snack!

This section of the path up to Bruncu Cirronis in the Campodano Forest area is my highlight. Every bend offers panoramic views of the Golfo degli Angeli and the city of Cagliari in the distance. The flora consists of thyme bushes, which almost completely cover the slopes, and pine trees. Acacia or eucalyptus trees are occasionally found. The rock consists of crystalline with granite and lime and is always present on the weathered and sometimes rough road. The gradient of the mountain road is moderate, sometimes moderate - but mostly demanding due to the rough and rough nature of the road. My destination was the 600 m high Cirronis Mountain, on the summit of which there is a pyramid structure from the Nuragic culture. However, the building has completely fallen into disrepair and only the cone-shaped structure clearly shows its former purpose. There are no places to stop for refreshments up here. The tour could be continued as a circular tour down to the neighboring town of Soleminis, which I had already visited in an earlier tour.

On fine days, from these bends you can see the whole coast from top to bottom, be careful if you go downhill because they are not very simple and suitable for everyone, uphill you need a good level of training.

The ancient country church of Santa Maria di Sibola dates back to around 1125. It was born where the village of Sibola was once located. It is located in the countryside of the municipality of Serdiana
