Clusane, whose toponym could derive from Clodius or Chiusa, is located on the southern bank of the Sebino. Autonomous municipality until 1927, today it is a fraction of Iseo. The town of Clusane was built around the castrum which contained, in addition to the chapel, the first nucleus of houses. Traces of the fortification are still visible in the historic centre, enclosed by some streets around the old church, mill and castle.

In this section of road, oriented towards the south-east, the light constantly paints fascinating natural pictures. The trees, majestic in their presence, act as an elegant frame, separating the road from the placid waters of Lake Iseo. An enchanted atmosphere is created with every change of light, offering picturesque views and making this stretch an authentic living painting along the shores of the lake.

The central route crosses the Torbiere del Sebino with a long wooden bridge that can be crossed to admire the spectacle of this place up close. In certain periods of the year this part of the route could be closed to protect the nesting of fauna.
