The road is very pleasant, passing along the Sieve through the countryside it almost doesn't seem like you're a step away from the main road, unfortunately the ground is battered and, although doable with a minimum of attention on a road bike, it is more advisable for gravel. Few cars, but in many places it is very narrow. Quietly doable with calm, but it is falsely easy alternating a series of descents with short but steep climbs. Towards Montebonello it is harder but the worst asphalt is found uphill, vice versa towards Pontassieve it is easier but you need to pay a lot of attention on the descent (I'm always talking about a road bike) Anyway I recommend trying it
