Il Corno Castle is located in San Pancrazio, in the municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the heart of Tuscany. Built in the 12th century by the Florentine Del Corno family as a defensive garrison between Florence and Siena, the castle was expanded and modified over the centuries. In the 16th century, it passed to the Strozzi family, who consolidated the structure and the surrounding lands, creating a unified core of farms. The building still retains medieval features, such as towers and stone walls, alongside later structures with broad façades and regular openings, typical of Tuscan rural residences. Today, the estate is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and hosts an agriturismo, offering a combination of history, architecture, and the typical landscape of the Florentine countryside.

The Polvereto Cypress Tondo is a group of cypress trees near the Church of San Michele in Montespertoli. In the past, cypress trees like this also had religious significance: they were planted as symbols of spiritual protection and marked places of worship along rural roads. They also once served as "bird snares" to attract birds. Today, they remain an interesting little spot to visit, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The Church of San Michele a Polvereto, in the municipality of Montespertoli, is a small jewel of Florentine rural heritage. Founded before the 14th century, its history is inextricably linked to the Lucardesi family, who were its patrons and embellished it with their stone coat of arms, still visible on the façade today. Its gabled architecture and single-nave plan give it a sober and authentic appearance. Inside, the only painting, an altarpiece, is attributed to Rodolfo del Ghirlandaio. The church stands on an isolated hill, in a landscape once rich in conglomerate quarries. Its location, surrounded by woods and vineyards, makes it a visual and spiritual landmark for the local community and a perfect example of how history and architecture can blend harmoniously with the surrounding natural environment.
