The Schindturm has been beautifully restored and thanks to the roof you can also take shelter when it rains. The information board tells a bit of history. The place is easy to incorporate into hikes along the Mainleite!

The best way to see it is from a distance. The gate is closed and entering the castle garden is forbidden. It is also completely overgrown.

Beautiful circular trail. Hiking equipment not necessarily required. Perfect for a nice walk.

A really beautiful lake with swimming and recreational opportunities. There are lawns for sunbathing and there are also sanitary facilities and changing rooms. There is also a restaurant near the car park. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether it is worth recommending.
