Alp Danatz, Splügen / Bodmastafel 1790 m: Alp Danatz, a horseshoe-shaped alpine pasture with stables for 132 cows and 40 pigs, and a large dairy hut, built of fieldstone with a gneiss slab roof. Alp Danatz in Splügen is managed as a cooperative alpine pasture. Approximately 110-120 cows are grazed there each summer (mostly from Splügen and Sufers). Cheese has not been produced on the alp for many years.
