If you're cycling from north to south along the Cilento coast, this is the first real panoramic viewpoint. I recommend climbing up, avoiding the main road to avoid the bulk of traffic (there's a fork at the start of the climb). The view is worth the effort: beautiful.

From Ogliastro Marina, there's a gate with a guard, which usually allows bicycles and pedestrians to pass. From Santa Maria di Castellabate, however, access is unimpeded, both on foot and by bike. Here, you'll find one of the most beautiful Aleppo pine forests in southern Italy, as well as a wonderful avenue of carob trees. A truly enchanting place.
