Castellafiume is a charming mountain village in the heart of the Simbruini mountains park.

The Vali di Monte Salviano is located at 902 m above sea level within the homonymous nature reserve. In 2000 the work entitled "Teatro della Germinazione" was installed, a sculpture by the artist Pietro Cascella.

Tagliacozzo is a city in Abruzzo which rises not far from the border with Lazio in the western part of Marsica, in the Piani Palentini area. From the streets of the city you can admire the nature of Marsica. Worth a pass.

Petrella Liri is a village of 116 inhabitants which rises in the Nerfa valley at the foot of Mount Aurunzo. It is located near the sources of the Liri river, on the border of Abruzzo with Lazio. The town is suggestive because it is surrounded by nature, the large pine forest that overlooks it was planted in the first decades of the twentieth century.

You get to Tagliacozzo coming from Rome, coming down from the Monte Bove pass. The town is well-kept and welcoming
