It is generally not accessible to the public but still it is a great site for a stopover or a picnic. According to an inscription on the facade, it was built by M. The church of the crucifix takes its name from a wooden crucifix, which was carved by a friar in 1673. According to some (undocumented) traditions this was a refuge for some fleeing Knights Templar, but it is much more likely that it is of a place where Franciscan brothers gathered from 1300 onwards.
