아마세노 강은 아마세노 계곡의 중심부에 위치하며 고대 유적지인 프리베르눔 근처를 흐르는 풍경을 형성합니다. 비아 프랑치게나 수드(Via Francigena Sud)가 강을 따라 이어집니다.

1274년 신학자 토마스 아퀴나스는 나폴리에서 리옹 공의회로 가는 도중 사고를 당해 시토회 포사노바 수도원에서 사망했습니다. 이곳에서는 위대한 교회 학자의 글, 빈 무덤, 예배당, 그리고 프리베르노의 산타 마리아 안눈치아타 공동 대성당에 유골로 보관된 그의 두개골 그림이 그의 업적을 기리고 있습니다.

Along the Via Francigena between Fossanova and Priverno, the ruins of a farmhouse with a brick arch. The glimpse of the panorama seems to have been made intentionally: the town of Maenza is perfectly framed in the distance.

On the Amaseno River, below Priverno and before the artificial waterfall, a few hundred meters on the river bank are dedicated to sport fishing but can also be a nice picnic area during periods when it is not used by fishermen.

On the bank of the Amaseno river, a wide path, or country road, allows you to make a pleasant flat excursion with a good climate in all seasons.

The Cistercian abbey where Saint Thomas Aquinas died, located not far from the Via Appia and the Via Francigena, the roads that connected Rome with the East and Jerusalem in the medieval period.

The church of S. Benedetto rises north-east of Priverno, not far from it rises the medieval walls to which the parish house is located. The main facade with an exposed stone structure has two single-lancet windows at the top and a rectangular door. The north façade shows signs of numerous openings and two buttresses from the 13th-14th century. The south façade with a simple portal and cardinal's coat of arms. Leaning against the latter is the bell tower. The rear elevation has an asymmetrical appearance determined by the protrusion of the body of the sacristy which interrupts the curvature of the terminal apse. Inside, the side naves are covered with cross vaults. On the curvature of the apse there is access to the sacristy which is also covered by cross vaults.
