A long stretch of seafront that offers, especially outside the bathing seasons, ideas for long rides on two wheels

For those who live in the area, they are perhaps just rocks. A closer look instead notes the history of our territory. It is definitely worth at least one visit. The place is welcoming with benches, tables and educational panels. Going down towards Terracina, a magnificent panorama opens up.

Fountain commissioned by Benedict XIII in 1727. It is currently not in use, but on the right there is a small fountain for taking water.

It was the ancient eastern gate of access to the Emilian forum. It overlooked the Appian Way which is still visible today.

Long promenade and ideal for a break

The upper part of Terracina is an open-air museum. You can admire the Emilian forum with its original Roman flooring, the recently restored Roman theater, the Capitolium, a section of the Appian Way. Furthermore, from the terrace of the town hall, you can admire the panorama below, from San Felice Circeo to the islands of Zannone, Ponza and Palmarola.
