술츠베르그 최고의 사이클링 경로

슈타우펜은 1453년부터 시장권을 가지고 있었습니다. 오스트리아와 스위스 근처의 알게우에 있는 중요한 장소였던 이곳에서는 몇몇 부유한 시민 가문이 생겨났고, 그들은 수세기 전에 이곳에 대표적인 집을 지었습니다. 그러나 1924년 화폐 개혁 이후 오버슈타우펜에는 1970년대까지 수많은 별장과 콘도가 생겨나 마을 전체의 모습이 손상되었습니다.

There's so many great views around the lake, and this is one of them! On a clear day, you can see very far in the distance. But even with less-than-perfect weather, there's still a lot of natural beauty to enjoy.

The "Mangold" cafe in Weiler is recommended. It's closed on Tuesdays, though. Then there's the Wucherer bakery. It has a small snack bar attached, with pleasant indoor and outdoor seating.

The chapel, with its recessed choir, gallery, shingled spire, and turret with a bell, was built of wood by the neighbors in 1862. The altar contains a picture of the Immaculate Conception by Franz Bobleter of Feldkirch. Statues of St. Aloysius and the Sacred Heart flank the altar. Various images of saints adorn the nave, and the Stations of the Cross are arranged on the chancel arch.

The Sinnraum Chapel is perched atop a prominent hill – a drumlin dating back to the Ice Age – in the Beule/Oberreutee district (Lake Constance). This small, newly constructed, unusually designed church is open to the public. It is a special place of worship and reflection in the West Allgäu. On my second cycling trip around Germany, I passed through Oberstaufen at lunchtime and ate a poppy seed dumpling with my coffee. It was very tasty.
