Ponte della Maddalena, or Ponte del Diavolo, is one of those places that will leave you speechless. It is located in Borgo a Mozzano and is truly unique with its very high arch and slightly crooked shape that makes it different from any other medieval bridge. It is absolutely worth stopping: the atmosphere is special. Crossing it on foot is an experience, and if you are on a bike, be careful of the stone section that can be slippery. There is also a bar nearby with a beautiful view of the bridge, perfect for a break before getting back on the road.

Point with an amazing view. Easy to reach from path 130 which can be a little slippery when it’s moist, but further no difficulties. From here to pania della croce and monte forato is marked as EE. To pania there are chains to hold on to on the difficult parts, to monte forato there are no chains, the path to forato is narrow and sometimes exposed on both sides.

The coast of Monte Forato, between Cardoso and Fornovolasco, is of great beauty, although care must be taken when walking along it. From here, in fact, you can see from close range the famous "hole" in the rock that gives the mountain its name, a natural arch visible from both Versilia and Garfagnana.
