COSTOIA, the intermediate point of the road that connects Montechiaro to Alberi, is simply stunning, both towards Seiano, Vico Equense, Scrajo, and towards the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius in particular. Furthermore, the bright colours of the vegetation and the centuries-old pine trees in the foreground truly do justice to the spectacular beauty of this hidden and peaceful corner of the Vicane hills. Peaceful and undulating route for hill trail running.

The extreme point of medieval Vico Equense is this beautiful clearing overlooking the sea, bordered on the right side by the comprehensive institute "Gian Battista della Porta", certainly one of the most famous vicans in history. On the left side stands the old bishop's seat, recalling that Vico Equense was a diocese until 1799.
