Several highlights converge here. Before you rest here, however, you should continue to the Kasierbuche (beech tree) or, if you're self-catering, take the path to the nearby observatory. There's a bench with an even greater view 🤩

There are several ways to drive to the Haunsberg. The most difficult is probably from Nußdorf via the so-called "Nußdorfer Hörndle" - gradient up to 21%. Another variant is from the upper run. Probably the least strenuous variant is from Berndorf - here the gradient is distributed most evenly. Coming from Oberndorf, you can also tackle the Haunsberg from Schlößl. Once at the top, you reach an altitude of 751 m

Great side road between Durchham and Lauterbach with a view of the Michelbeuern monastery. Here you avoid the busy state road - even if there are a few more meters of altitude difference. But the view of the valley is nicer.

Well-developed cycle path along the Salzach to Bergheim. The tar is ok so far, a bit restless in some places. In any case, be careful, also because of the pedestrians, who can be quite numerous depending on the time of day. It then continues straight away on the bike path in the direction of Anthering.
