A beautiful Alpine lake where you can spend time sunbathing or taking a dip. The lower lake has a beautiful flat area towards the last section or on the stone slabs just before.

The Porcile lakes are an excellent summer destination. The view from here is spectacular, but it doesn't take much to reach Monte Cadelle, the Tartano Pass or the Cime di Lemma, from which to enjoy an even more beautiful view!

Very well equipped and well maintained bivouac. It is necessary to check availability on the site given the turnout and the ease with which it can be reached from Tartano and Campo Tartano (approx. 2h). Please keep it better than you find it!

These are three lakes of glacial origin in Val Tartano or Val Lunga. The name Laghi del Porcile does not derive from the pig pen, but from the term "purscil", which means purity.
