The first stone of the sanctuary was laid on 28 August 1622, on the day dedicated to Saint Augustine. The Sanctuary is surrounded by some suggestive legends. One of these says that Saint Augustine appeared to a local shepherd in a dream, indicating this very place to build the sanctuary. Its position immersed in nature among centuries-old trees creates an atmosphere of mystery and spirituality. A place where history, legends and faith intertwine

Cobbled and stony road, the stretch is 100 m. faced uphill by mistake it is not marked on the maps and is not pedalable. Luckily it wasn't the path to take!

Punto Acqua, before arriving at the small church of S. Agostino, in front of the DH Peveri crossroads! In summer it is easy to find it dry, it remains the water point of S.Agostino!

As always, before arriving at the Carlone waterfalls I encounter this difficulty on the path, I have never managed to do it on the saddle! Too Technical! 😱😱🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
