Beautiful, well-maintained dirt bike path

San Daniele del Friuli, or simply San Daniele, is a small town with 7,922 inhabitants in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, situated at an altitude of 252 meters above sea level. It features historical buildings dating from the 16th to 18th centuries. The town was largely destroyed by an earthquake in 1976. Significant damage is also recorded from the earthquake of 1348.

Beautiful old town

Clauzetto rightly calls itself the "balcony of Friuli." I know many places with sweeping views of Friuli, and the "round horizon" is best seen from Clauzetto. The church tower on the hill also makes a perfect backdrop. Access can be gained via narrow and steep alleys, some of which are paved with cobblestones, or via a somewhat wider main road. The cultural, natural, and historical ambiance makes Clauzetto unique.

A more than typical Italian church with a bell tower in San Giovanni di Casarsa. Driving directly toward the church, the steeple isn't noticeable. It only becomes visible after driving around the church.
