Beautiful lake with dreamy bays to linger

Lake Wolayersee lies at approximately 1,950 meters and is surrounded by several peaks with steep rock faces. The lake has no inflow; its water comes from rainfall and melting snow. On the lakeshore, the Wolayersee Hut, a mountain refuge belonging to the Austrian Alpine Club, offers accommodations and meals.

The hardest hill in Europe, a title that may not correspond to the absolute truth, but which was not assigned by chance; probably the hardest climb ever faced by the Great Cycling. If you want to face this climb I think you know what you are getting into... I can only wish you good luck and assure you that the satisfaction it gives is unique

The Pramosio hut is located in a fantastic place, easily reachable even by car. Various paths start from here, including a visit to Lake Avostanis. At the Malga you can eat and buy local products. Great place highly recommended.

A beautiful mountain hut that can be reached by car (be prepared for 15 minutes of hairpin bends on a steep dirt road among the fir trees). The place is crowded on summer holidays, but on the paths you can find peace and beautiful views. At the mountain hut we ate some good desserts and I bought some excellent cheeses. I would like to go back to eat the first courses!
