Unfortunately the church is closed in March.

It is easier to get there from Molfetta but the walk from Ripalta to Torre Calderina is pleasant.

A beautiful square with fountains, statues and green space to linger. At Christmas there is a Ferris wheel with a few stalls.

From here you can admire the port of Bisceglie in all its splendor.

When you have walked for a long time through the old town and its alleyways and then suddenly come across a garden with orange trees, that is a highlight for me.

Characteristic place

Dating back to the second half of the 15th century by the De Luca family, today it is the seat of the Town Council

Its construction begins in the early 1600s and ends only a century later. Commissioned by the Jesuits after the dissolution, in 1767, it remained abandoned to be restored and enlarged a few years later, in 1785, becoming a cathedral in place of the Cathedral of San Corrado or old Cathedral which stands in the port area.
