The climb to the lake was beautiful, the lake was beautiful, the refreshment area was excellent. The beach though, what a view.

Great lake, certainly accessible to tourists, but not as bad as some other well-known gems in the Dolomites. It is also possible to cool off briefly in the lake. Currently, some of the paths are damaged by heavy mudslides.

The two small lakes Coredo and Tavon, in the town of Palù, are nestled in a fascinating mountain setting. They are located at an altitude of 830 m, are of glacial origin and have a surface area of approximately 25,000 m².

The Sanctuary of S. Romedio is located near Sanzeno in the Val di Non and is one of the most interesting examples of medieval Christian art in Trentino. The sanctuary rises on a 70 m high limestone cliff and consists of several churches and chapels that adapt to the shape of the rock. Surrounded by a fascinating natural setting, far from human settlements, the entire structure on the rock is connected by a steep staircase with around 131 steps. The many buildings date from different eras and the oldest church was built around the year 1000 on the tomb of St. Romedius. Over time, it was expanded and three small churches, two chapels and seven stations of the Passion of Christ were added.
