THE EXTRAORDINARY COMMISSIONER Whereas on the afternoon of Tuesday, 14 October 2025, a rock slab detached from Mount Garzolet, affecting the route of the "Ferrata Pisetta"; Considering that this event constitutes a potential danger to public safety, particularly for hikers and climbers who frequent the area; Deeming it therefore essential, in order to ensure public safety, to order the temporary closure of access to the "Ferrata Pisetta" until the completion of the necessary inspections; Having regard to the provisions of the Code of Local Authorities (C.E.L.), approved by Regional Law of 3 May 2018, No. 2, and in particular Article 61; Deeming it appropgiate to establish a prohibition of access to the affected area in order to prevent accidents or damage persons or property;

Beautiful panorama but strength in the arms is a prerequisite for this via ferrata, I suggest taking enough to drink with you!

Large cave with a stretch of stone men and at the bottom the so-called water of Youth flows from the rock. It is located about halfway along the Eagles' path.

The current state of scientific expertise confirms that the lake is around 3,000 years old. It was formed by a landslide on the south-western side. Finds of old tree stumps in the deep basin of the lake support this theory. The lake was soon used to generate electricity, for which water was fed into the lake and diverted via the southern outflow to two hydroelectric power stations.

After about 300 m of ascent, the C/D entry is already tough. Don't forget to protect yourself from the sun. SOUTH FACE.

How to get there: At the roundabout in Sarche, take Via Caffaro in the direction of Madonna di Campiglio. After a few meters, turn right up the hill at the traffic lights opposite the gas station. You can park easily on the right. Approach: The easiest approach is not easy to find. At the back of the hall you will find the first signpost for the via ferrata and first follow the hiking trail. At the sign “Riserva Naturale Provinciale” the slope goes steeply up to. Now you are in front of an avalanche protection wall, on the other side of which you can turn left. Now follow the signposted hiking trail again, which winds up through the forest to the right. At a scree gully you are tempted to turn left. But you don't do that, you continue to follow the path. After a few hairpin bends you cross the scree gully again and are once again tempted to turn uphill into it. But you don't do that. The easier route leads up a few meters behind the scree gully. On the steep final climb it is better to keep to the right in places without markings.
