On the shores of Lake Iseo, with the town of Iseo

Lake Iseo

On the highest peak of Monte Isola, at about 600 meters above sea level, stands the sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola, from whose surrounding courtyard you can enjoy a splendid view of Lake Iseo and the surrounding mountains. The sanctuary was completed in 1750 and is of great charm.

Wonderful view of the lake. For me personally it's more worth it than the church itself.

Peschiera Maraglio on Monte Isola. The largest and most popular place is Peschiera Maraglio on the southern tip of the island. Everything here is reminiscent of the most beautiful places in Italy, the medieval-looking buildings are arranged in a well-arranged manner up the mountainside. The clear water is very attractive, even if there is unfortunately no bathing area in the town. Shops and restaurants do their job brilliantly,

The road to Castro offers a breathtaking panorama along the north-eastern shore of Lake Iseo. The stretch is notable for its beauty, with the road cutting directly into the surrounding rock. The experience of riding this part of the route is unique, with the spectacular view of the lake adding an extraordinary touch. A must for lovers of panoramic roads and suggestive views.
