One of the oldest castles found on the ancient communication route that flanks the Oglio river. The construction of the Trebecco castle probably began in the 10th century. Its structure has remained substantially unchanged over the centuries, an extraordinary example of a fortified medieval village, the only entrance is a tower. The numerous changes of ownership over the course of its history have significantly contributed to its decay and that of the village, but, thanks to a recent restoration, it now makes it truly impressive.
