Open shelter with signposts and trash cans. Nice. The road I then continued south from there was a real pain. It was littered with tire tracks, holes, deep undulations, and during the rainy season, mud and mud holes. You don't need to have them. But when it's dry, you can get through without a nervous breakdown.

Today, it serves as the youth castle of the Association of Christian Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. The castle is known for its tower chapel, unique on the European mainland and located entirely within the keep wall.

Hutten Castle The building, with its characteristic turrets, was erected in 1711 by Amtmann Stern on the site of a former estate belonging to the Voite von Rieneck family and later became the property of the Counts of Hutten, an influential Franconian noble family, as commemorated by their coat of arms above the portal. Hutten Castle has served various purposes, including as a tax office, a warehouse for the Reich Labor Service, and the Lower Franconian Transport Museum.
