Built in the first half of the eighteenth century after the discovery of a sacred image of the Madonna, the sanctuary suffered devastation during the Allied bombings in November 1944. The 1960 reconstruction, led by the architect Adriano Marabini, led to a renovation with wall blocks of local travertine from the Labante quarries.

The castle in Guiglia is the result of various phases of construction around the fourteenth-century tower. In the 19th century it was a ducal palace, then abandoned. In the 20th century it became a hotel, an art gallery warehouse and after the Second World War, a casino. Entering the castle door, you will find a shady garden with benches, ideal for a lunch break. In the castle you will find frescoes. It is worth climbing the walls to observe the plain below.
