A pretty town in the Modena Apennines, Fanano is a tourist location where it is splendid to spend both winter and summer. The lakes Pratignano and Scaffaiolo, the hamlets of Fellicarolo, Lotta, Ospitale, Serrazzone, Trentino, Trignano and Canavare are located in the municipal territory and is the largest municipality in upper Frignano.
