Lama Mocogno stands on a promontory at an altitude of 832 meters above sea level. From here you can observe the valleys of the Scoltenna and Mocogno streams, and Mount Cimone. It is a renowned destination for mountain tourism, the ski resort dates back to 1928. The Parmigiano Reggiano festival takes place on the first weekend of October, not to be missed!

The main inhabited center of the historical region of Frignano, Pavullo today has around 18,000 inhabitants and is the second largest municipality in the province of Modena. It boasts numerous hilly hamlets of great charm, such as Verica or Coscogno, but its center is also graceful and characteristic. Despite being bombed and mostly destroyed during the Second World War, in fact, Pavullo has been well rebuilt and the church of San Bartolomeo, patron saint of the town whose pilgrim statue is located outside the church itself, is worth a visit.

The parish church of Rubbiano is a rural church located in the Modena Apennines. It was founded in the 7th century and rebuilt in Romanesque style between the 10th and 12th centuries. It was an important religious and social center along the Via Bibulca, a road that connected Emilia to Tuscany.

Montefiorino is a small town in the province of Modena, known for being the center of the first Partisan Republic in the Second World War. The town is characterized by its imposing medieval fortress, which houses two museums dedicated to the Resistance and local history.
