It seems that San Cataldo has never actually passed through these places. Yet the legends about the saint are not lacking. Rocchette is a fraction of Torri in Sabina in the province of Rieti. It originates from the two fortified medieval settlements that were consolidated in the 13th century to control the road that connected Rieti to the Tiber valley and Rome.
