San Martino in Pensilis is a small village in Molise, located at 281 meters above sea level, where history, art, and tradition meet. Its squares, churches, and numerous murals tell the story of local life, further enhanced by the youth initiative of the Pampaloco association and the "Da P'Art a Part" project, which has transformed the streets into a colorful open-air gallery.

Born as a family palace, it was donated by the Arrangas towards the end of the nineteenth century to the city administration which made it the municipal headquarters and remained so until a few years ago.

It is the oldest building in the town of Serracapriola, today the castle is owned by Maresca.

Transhumance took place along the sheep tracks of the Apennine ridge, with the shepherds' flocks being taken from the mountains of Abruzzo and Molise to the lush pastures of the Tavoliere delle Puglie, where they could spend the winter in a milder climate and with the certainty of being able to feed the livestock .
