The third of the Monti Albani by height, with its 938 metres, completes a tour with the other two peaks (Monte Cavo and Maschio delle Faete) which can be tackled, starting from Campi d'Annibale, and passing through the so-called "Occhialone" ( a panoramic point on the Via Sacra from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the two lakes and up to the Circeo) both on an excursion (through the Via called "Faete Alte", about three hours in total) and in MTB, passing through the "Faete Basse "

938 meters high, it is the third of the three "Colli Albani" that made up the Internal Caldera of the Ancient Latium Volcano, together with the Maschio delle Faete and Monte Cavo: The Viasta over the entire ex-caldera and the underlying Campi d'Annibale is excellent ; moving a little downhill, you can enjoy a broad panorama towards Tusculum and the other heights towards Rocca Priora which, with the Artemisio Mountains behind it, formed the External Caldera, and then further on, towards the countryside east of Rome and the Prenestini Mountains.
