The great cross of Mount Tusculum.

938 meters high, it is the third of the three "Colli Albani" that made up the Internal Caldera of the Ancient Latium Volcano, together with the Maschio delle Faete and Monte Cavo: The Viasta over the entire ex-caldera and the underlying Campi d'Annibale is excellent ; moving a little downhill, you can enjoy a broad panorama towards Tusculum and the other heights towards Rocca Priora which, with the Artemisio Mountains behind it, formed the External Caldera, and then further on, towards the countryside east of Rome and the Prenestini Mountains.

Proposed on the occasion of the extraordinary Jubilee of 1933, 19 meters high, the cross was inaugurated on 21 April 1934.
