A small highlight in pure nature

If you don't want to ride the bike path along the road on your gravel bike or mountain bike, this singletrack is a great alternative. If you head downhill to the right towards Kollhorster Weg, you'll come to a tight, steep curve.

The path directly along the shore is well-surfaced, so you can get here easily on foot or by bike. There are a few benches where you can sit and relax, as the view of the fjord is magnificent. You can see the Friedrichsort lighthouse, the naval memorial in Laboe in the distance, or the eastern shore. There are often various ships moored here, waiting to enter the Kiel Canal (NOK). There is always something to see, and it is different every day.
