A beautiful little church and the highlight of Helle.

The eclectic hall church was built in 1913 to replace the dilapidated half-timbered church, designed by Georg Büttner in accordance with the ideas of the Heimat movement, incorporating characteristic Romanesque and Baroque motifs. It consists of a nave, a semicircular choir to the east behind a choir arch, and a church tower at the northwest corner of the nave. The top floor, made of timber framing, houses the bell cage behind the sound arcades designed as bifora. The church tower is capped by an eight-sided, slate-covered, shingled roof. The façade to the west of the nave is topped with a spire gable. The interior is spanned by a segmental-arched, coffered barrel vault. The altarpiece from the previous building, created around 1470, depicting the coronation of Mary, has been preserved.

The church here in Helle immediately captivated me, what a beautiful village church.

The church is a well-preserved hall building made of fieldstone blocks from 1260 with a west transept tower; the recessed rectangular choir was renovated in late Gothic style. The half-timbered top of the tower dates from 1829. There is a pointed arch stepped portal on the west and north sides; the northern one was walled up but has since been reopened.

Kuhsdorf was one of the oldest estates of the von Quitzow family and it is assumed that the name derives from Konradsdorf, as Konrad was a key name for the family, as was Barthold, which is why it is assumed that the neighboring Bullendorf was originally called Bartholdsdorf and the animal names were named this later replaced when the origins were long forgotten.

Is only a short piece, is beautifully situated in the forest in the area of Stepenitz.

The retracted, towering west tower from 1883. The grout dyed red with grout. The east side with stepped gable and ogival panels. In the west stepped gable between nave and tower, the tower shaft with indented frieze, zigzag frieze and round windows. Inside wooden beam ceiling and west gallery with coffered balustrade. The pews from the time of construction, the pulpit, combined with the pastor's chair, and an octagonal baptism made of wood. The brick and plastered altar table with reused, carved tendrils from a baroque altar. The bell of the previous building was reused, cast in 1824 by F. L.W. Thiel in Berlin.
