In May 2019, the water buffalo were resettled in the Bottwar meadows as part of the project for home, people, and nature. Their stable and pasture are located on the road between Großbottwar and Kleinbottwar.

The historic part of the bridge from 1874 is located on the Enztal cycle path, near the new railway bridge. The industrial monument weighs 20 tons, is 5 m wide, 7 m high and is set on a 3 m high concrete base. The part of the original railway bridge that has been preserved as a fragment is a reminder of the era of industrialization and the strategic development of Besigheim through the Stuttgart-Heilbronn railway line in the 19th century.

The mighty seven-story main building still dominates Bissingen's townscape today. The listed brick facade has been preserved and only changed by additional buildings, balconies and openings in the exposed brickwork. The living spaces inside consist of lofts extending over two levels. Four turbines were installed in the turbine channels of the former mill beneath the building. These generate electricity using hydropower, which is fed into the power grid. The waste heat from the turbines is used to heat the building. Energy generation is supplemented by a gas-fired combined heat and power plant with a combined heat and power system, which also generates electricity. The waste heat is used for heating in winter and for cooling the restaurant and organic supermarket in summer. The rainwater is fed into the rainwater harvesting system using cisterns.
