Fishing Fishing yourself in the middle of untouched nature The fishing ponds in Werdermühle near Niemegk are full of rainbow trout, salmon trout, golden trout, brook trout, carp and sturgeon all year round, just waiting for you to catch them. The first ponds in the Werdermühle were documented as early as 1379. These were created by the Cistercian monks in connection with a mill. From around 1900, these ponds were used for trout farming.
