Located far away from the village in the Kylltal, the main building is adjoined to the two-storey core building on three sides, including two towers. The assembly conveys a painterly and squat overall impression. The Speicher train station is on the Eifel route (KBS 474). It is served by the RB 22 trains in local rail passenger transport: Local rail passenger transport is operated by DB Regio NRW. Vehicles from the 620 and 622 series are used. The tariff of the Verkehrsverbund Region Trier (VRT) applies.
