Located in the middle of Hadres's cellar lane, the Keller-Wohlfühlplatz (Cellar Well-being Area) is a great place to take a break. At 1.6 km, the Hadres cellar lane is the longest in the Weinviertel. Numerous events take place annually in the 400 press houses and cellars. The cellar lane is a cultural asset whose fundamental elements are preserved. Guidelines ensure that no structural changes are made that do not fit the cellar image. Author Alfred Komarek filmed his novel "Polt" here and owns a press house with an attached cellar. Many of his works were created here or originated here.

A Baroque sculpture group from 1700, "Urlaubsmarterl" (Vacation Martyr). Jesus is granted leave of absence, or farewell, by Mary. In Middle High German (ca. 1050-1350), the term "Beurlaubung" (leave of absence) was not known in its current form. The root of the word lies in "urloub," meaning "permission to leave."
