The main square of Retz is a lively and historic place that forms the heart of the town.

On a stone base, high octagonal shaft with baroque vase crowning. On the east side, in the middle of the shaft, a stone ball is attached with a chain. On the shaft is a ring and clasp. The pillory originally stood on the edge of a sunken path, near the church steps. "The large cellar drive in Haugsdorf is known for "Art and Wine" and as the filming location for the crime series "Polt". It is picturesquely situated in a sunken lane covered with acacia trees and leads up to the Hutberg, which can be seen from afar. Here you can enjoy the intact nature and the view over the gently rolling Pulkautal with its vineyards. Tours of the cellar lanes are also offered to interested people.
