An indescribable view over Waldshut-Tiengen to the Alps

There has been an observation tower on the summit of Vitibuck for many years. The tower is 37 metres high and offers a beautiful view.

The lower gate of Waldshut is also called the Baslertor. It is the western city gate with romantic elements. In the tower is a death bell from 1689. Cannonballs from the Swiss siege of 1468 are on the way out of town. The weather vane is in the form of a Waldshuter Männle.
