Embark on a journey back in time to the moor farmers of the time of moorland settlement. Narrated by two long-time members of the "Historischer Moorhof Augustendorf – Heimatverein Gnarrenburg e. V." association, you'll gain personal insights into the development of the farmstead. Unfortunately, this tour is only available between May and September or by prior appointment. The outdoor area can be visited at any time, and the nearby moorland adventure trail makes the visit a truly enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately, I couldn't capture it well on camera, but this stretch of road could easily be on the North Sea. The absolutely chic houses, the dike, which is great for cycling, the vastness... If the Wümme River roared a bit more like the North Sea, it would be perfect! 👍

Very popular with us road cyclists here in the region. It's actually quite a mountain for the North German Plain. 😉

Very good asphalt for racing cyclists on the way to the Breddorfer Moor, which connects the districts of Rotenburg (Wümme) and Osterholz.

A great retreat for a variety of bird species. Easy to observe from the dyke and benches.
