The Kuhmühlen recreation area is a popular destination because of the beauty and diversity of the landscape. Better asphalt than expected

There is a local history museum in the mill.

The cow mill, also known as the monastery or border mill, has a very long tradition. More than 750 years ago the Kuhbach near Kuhmühlen was dammed to form a 2.5 hectare mill pond in order to operate a water mill here. Today the "Hotel zur Kloster-Mühle" is located in the building (quote from the operator: "A jewel away from the noise and hustle and bustle, surrounded by a scenic spot full of fascination.")
