The mill's birthday on Whit Monday is organized every year with an accompanying program and the mill is the center of attention, especially at the mill festival, always on the 3rd Sunday in August. It was built in 1877 and, after being shut down in 1972, was completely renovated between 1990 and 1998. The mill is now popular as a registry office.
