Skovmøllen is a historic watermill located in the Marselisborg Forests just south of Aarhus. It’s Denmark’s only working undershot watermill, where you can see traditional milling in action on select days. Next to the mill, Restaurant Skovmøllen serves a delicious Danish brunch using local ingredients.

Here you can seek shelter and even make a fire. Directly adjacent there is a blue and a red MTB route that repeatedly leads to the hut.

Skovmøllen. The Skovmøllen is currently not open to the public as the mill is due to have a new water wheel. This does not affect the associated buildings or the Skovmøllen Restaurant, where food and drinks can still be enjoyed. The mill is getting new wood for the mill wheels and is therefore currently not open.

The house was demolished or dismantled. Anyway, it's not there anymore.

Giber Å is 12 kilometers long and originates in Testrup Mose, south of Tranbjerg. The river flows through the town of Mårslet, past Vilhelmsborg Manor, and empties into the Kattegat just north of Fiskerhuset near Moesgård Strand. The river is largely unregulated, although its water was used for hydroelectric power (watermills) at Vilhelmsborg, Fulden Mølle, and Skovmøllen.
