The students and staff of the Johanneum Gymnasium were recognized by the Diocese of Münster in 2019 as a "School with an Eco-Fair Orientation" for their diverse commitment. Nice suitable parking lot, coming from Osnabrück just before Ostbevern. Right next to the parking lot there is a Marian shrine that matches the area
