It takes a while, but then... one anthill after another, with thousands of ants in full activity. If you stand still too long, you'll have them all over your body ;) I've never seen anything like it.

The entrance to the Roman-Celtic Trail Dream Loop is located at the Sternfeld barbecue hut near Osburg. A distinctive wooden arch with a trail sign marks the official starting point – ideal for a starting photo or selfie. I set out early in the morning (starting around 7:30 a.m.) and had the place completely to myself. When I returned, it was much busier – so an early start is worthwhile if you're looking for peace and quiet. 🅿️ Parking: Available directly at the barbecue hut. Alternatively, there is another small parking lot nearby if it's full.

A beautiful trail. Of the 48 loops I've hiked so far, it's among the top ten! Highlight: a real forest, tall and dense, just like I remembered from my childhood. Like another world. And endless peace. A dream.

Good place to relax your feet nice cold water clear and clean Unfortunately dogs are not allowed in but less than 5 meters further into the forest and the streams are wonderful for your dog
