The Stumpfwaldbahn is a 600 mm gauge narrow-gauge railway near Ramsen. Passenger trains run on Sundays and public holidays from Eiswoog to Ramsen.

The Freinsheim Panoramic Cycle Path leads around the historic city walls of this picturesque wine-growing town and continues through the gently rolling vineyards of the Mittelhaardt region. The Catholic Parish Church of St. Matthew is a three-aisled basilica built between 1915 and 1919 in the neo-Baroque style according to a design by architect Wilhelm Schulte I.
