The Ungeheuersee in the Leininger Sporn, part of the northeastern Palatinate Forest, is a shallow pond that is fed by the Krumbach. The lake has been protected as a natural monument since the 1930s. It has been listed in the official register since 1971 with the list number ND-7332-195. Gigantic view. And I don't find the many wind turbines disturbing either. At least nicer than KKW's.

A great view from the highest mountain in RLP - a visit is definitely worth it

It was incredibly beautiful and even more beautiful that hardly anyone was there today. The absolute highlight of Dannenfels.

The Eagle Arch is a steel triumphal arch on the Moltkefelsen, 545 meters above sea level, on the east flank of the Donnersberg. On a forest path southwest of Dannenfels, a 12.50 meter long steel arch was stretched about 30 meters above the valley floor between two rocky peaks of the Moltkefelsen. The eagle arch is an important testimony to the art-historical development of the monument in the German Empire and the early tourist development of the Donnersberg. The arch is a "product of technology, an iron construction originally intended for bridge building, alienated to a "monument"... "in the dimension of the aesthetic" (Schindlmayr 1982, p. 159). 돈너스베르크 언덕 위의 아름답고 걸어갈 수 있는 타워입니다. 루트비히 타워에는 휴식을 취할 수 있는 키오스크와 몇 개의 테이블이 있는 벤치가 있습니다. 그런데 켈텐휘테도 아주 가깝습니다.

A great view from the highest mountain in the Palatinate, the climb is definitely worth it. We passed it on our 16 km hike around the Ludwigsturm.
