Majestic structure, the Elstertal Bridge

Very relaxing cycle path and pleasant even on very hot days as there are many shady sections.

The building seen here was constructed between 1861 and 1864. The building was completely renovated and restored in 1990. The bell tower can be seen from afar as you enter the city. The building adorns the very spacious market square and is complemented by a fabulous fountain in front of it.

In the meantime, a barrier-free, albeit quite steep, path has been created, so that the bike no longer has to be carried.

The Royal Spa House was built in the Neo-Renaissance style between 1888 and 1890, the year of the Three Emperors, under the direction of the state architect Trobsch from Zwickau. As a whole, its representative design impressively underlines the international importance and acceptance of the Saxon royal spa at the end of the 19th century.
